茶山步道周邊茶廠景觀設施改善工程，再造地方榮景

新北市石門區自清朝年間就是北海岸重要茶區，茶農及製茶廠最多時達百餘家，並成為進貢日本天皇的聖品，目前石門仍是北海岸重要茶區，製茶廠多分布於茶山步道周邊，所以由台灣電力公司補助經費約650萬元，針對茶山步道周邊茶廠進行景觀設施改善工程，目前工程已開始施作。
林俊宏區長表示，台二線旁草里漁港外有「茶山步道」指標，沿著市道北21走就可以抵達茶山步道，除了茶園景觀外，鄰近有多家製茶廠且大多都已經傳承多代，擁有長達百餘年的製茶歷史與經驗，並以鐵觀音及紅茶聞名。新北市政府城鄉局及石門區公所特別爭取台電公司風貌營造工程經費補助辦理茶山步道周邊茶廠及草埔尾公園景觀設施改善，將往茶山步道途經之指標以相同元素串聯，方便引導民眾到達茶山步道遊憩；草里製茶廠外牆增設製茶壁畫，將製茶步驟呈現，方便民眾了解製茶過程，另改善草埔尾生態公園，讓前來茶山步道遊覽民眾及在地居民能有更多休憩的地方。公所除辦理茶山步道周邊茶廠景觀設施優化外，近期也已完成茶山步道全線清洗及沿途竹林環境整理，是很適合闔家遊憩的步道，這裡是台灣最北的茶鄉，有石門最著名的鐵觀音茶，歡迎大家來到石門遊憩，品嘗石門茶香及美食。
